All Kinds of Camps for All Kinds of Kids

Strategy, Art Direction, Design, Copywriting

Whether the kids know it or not, lots of summer camps are positioned as a way for campers to gain a competitive edge in their journey to a successful career, decades ahead of time. It feels like a lot to put on a young person’s shoulders.

In opposition to this, I crafted a campaign for PacSci’s Camps for Curious Minds that told parents what they already believed: their kids are perfect just the way they are, and we have camps to support them.

Camp Guide

Early on, I recognized the camp guide as a major marketing opportunity, and turned it from a cut-and-dried course catalogue into a brand statement that emphasized our inclusive messaging.

I wrote an intro letter to set the tone, and designed an activity page to engage potential campers. I also dedicated spreads to outline our Girls Only and Sensory Friendly sessions, and advocated for a mobility guide. All of these elements worked to further reinforce the idea that PacSci’s camps are an inclusive space.
